Christmas is such an eventful time for handmakers. I notice such joy in the process of creating decorations and gifts from my fellow makers which starts earlier than you may think. I often notice the fun begin at the end of October. Therefore our November box always entails a Christmas theme and arrives in time to use your collection of christmas themed yarns and fibres. Our November BeWeave box is all about the red, white and green to help you get into the Christmas spirit.
Ariel by DHG ‘Chianti’ – Our new Ariel yarn comes from the skilful mixing of cotton with Lurex and has been made in a semi-artisan way. Produced entirely in Tuscany it has a gorgeous sparkle and is perfect for knitting and crochet, but also for macrame and hand weaving. The contrasting red and white was ideal for Christmas and you will be able to do so many different things with 1 ball of yarn.
Silk Velvet yarn ‘Snow’ – A unique yarn in velvet form that has a soft plush look and feel. The composition of this yarn was too good to resist for a Christmas themed box
Chiffon ribbon ‘milk’ – A beautiful wide delicate ribbon with soft frayed edges. Use in weaving or gift wrapping. Its soft, translucent look creates an elegant touch. Wide Chiffon ribbons will be joining the Vada Blue family soon.
Silk Touch ‘Ruby’ – This 5mm string is a blend of cotton and bamboo. The silky texture gives it a luxurious look and feel and is ideal for macrame and weaving.
Natural twist string ‘gold’ -  5mm cotton string with a golden highlight is perfect for the Christmas vibes
Recycled cotton rope ‘pine’ - Another addition to enhance your Christmas decorations. Soft, cotton macramé rope in 4mm
Red berries – A popular Christmas embellishment for you to include in your macramé or woven projects. Add the shiny red berries to any decoration or Christmas wreaths.
Plus a bonus wooden ring and bead were included for completeing the Santa Christmas decoration as seen in this months inspiration project card, which included multiple different ornaments using this months box. The other inspiration projects were a crochet christmas tree, mini wreath and chrismtas tree decoration.
