Banana fibre is super soft yet durable with a luster effect. It is harvested from the outer layers of the banana tree bark which is stripped and soaked to leave cellulose fibres. It is a fantastic vegan, renewable source of fibre. The Banana fibre has been dyed with a variety of vibrant saturated pigments before being hand spun on a drop spindle to create a one of kind thick and thin art yarn. 
 
Manufactured to minimise waste, this product will go above expectations as a stand out fibre for adding a unique look and feel to your pieces, while also being concioulsy great for the environment, you cant really go wrong.
