Please note - When working out measurements for wall hangings I take the measurement from the top of the wood/bamboo hanger, not the hanging string and measure to the longest point of the piece. You are able to request a longer, shorter or no hanging string if required.
When measuring plant hangings, this measurement is taken from the area inside the ring at the top where the hanger will sit on its hook to the very tip of the cotton rope. Please note that this is taken without a plant inside and the lenght will become shorter once a pot/bowl etc has been added. This difference will vary depending on the size of the item inside.
Custom Orders are always welcomed and can be customised on every aspects of a pieces such as size, colour, style, hanger etc. Please contact Sarah via the contact form on the home page, or at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss a piece specific for you.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Our macrame plant hangers are handmade using high quality, 100% Australian Cotton Rope or Luxe European coloured string and require minimal care. An occasional clean is recommended as exposure to elements such as dust, water and soil may dull the appearance over time.
Cotton is a natural fibre, for longevity hang your plant hanger inside, undercover and out of the weather and overly moist rooms. Remove your plant and pot before watering and return when most of the water has drained.
Please note that if you have purchased a plant hanger with a wooden ring, that these are also a natural material that can weaken over time if exposed to direct sunlight and water. Keep these dry and avoid hanging anything too heavy, I recommend keeping it at only a couple of kgs. If you have a metal ring or cotton rope ring, these are much stronger and can facilitate a much heavier pot and plant.
Your macrame and woven wall hangings will also require little maintenance but can be cared for by giving a dust and clean with a damp cloth. If necessary you can hand wash in cold/warm water with gentle soap. Rinse and squeeze your hanger to release excess water before putting out to air dry. Please avoid taking off its hanger and do not place in the washing machine or use harsh chemicals.
